Approved by the Oklahoma CIB

CE247 is proud to be an approved Continuing Education Provider by the Oklahoma Construction Industries Board (CIB).

CE247 offers CIB-approved online courses that fulfill the Continuing Education (CE) requirements for licensed electricians and apprentices under House Bill 3215.

New CE requirements effective January 1, 2026:

  • Journeymen & Contractors: 12 hours every three years – 6 hours Code Update + 6 hours Other.
  • Apprentices: 3 hours every year before re-registering.

Renewal timing: Oklahoma licenses renew annually. Your deadline is the last day of your birth month each year. Journeymen and contractors must complete 12 hours of CE within their 3-year cycle – but you don’t have to wait until the last year. CE hours may be completed any time during the cycle, giving you flexibility to choose when it works best for you. Apprentices complete 3 hours every year.

Our self-paced, 100% online courses are available for immediate enrollment and can be taken on phone, tablet, or desktop. Certificates are issued instantly upon completion, and CE247 reports completions to the CIB within 7 days.
